OHL Presentation at UN NGO Event
COO Shawny Robey presented on behalf of OHL at a United Nations NGO Committee on the Status of Women virtual event. OHL was on a panel titled “Addressing Gender Based Violence: a key element in gender-sensitive addiction treatment programs”, which discussed the intersectionality between substance use disorders and gender-based violence. The full presentation went wonderfully, but we wanted to be sure to share with all staff a video that we incorporated that details OHL's work with women-sensitive programming and highlighted the work we did via our OHMEGA (Women) grant. We feel that this video is a very powerful representation of the work that we do!
