Odyssey House Louisiana (OHL) is a nonprofit behavioral health care provider with an emphasis on addiction treatment. OHL was established in 1973 as a nonprofit residential substance abuse treatment facility with the mission of empowering people to conquer addiction. Today, Odyssey House offers a professional, structured and caring Therapeutic Community with comprehensive services and effective support systems that enable individuals to chart new lives and return to their communities as contributing members.

OHL will be hosting a "Painting with a Purpose" fundraiser for OHL at both Corks N' Canvas locations, Uptown and Metairie on Sunday, September 19 from 3 PM until 6 PM!
OHL Graduate Shines as United Way Speaker!
United Way graciously invited OHL graduate, Robert Fezekas, to attended United Way's Campaign Kick-off Leadership Breakfast and Thank You event in July to speak about the services he received though Odyssey House and United Way.
Elvis was in the Building!
On Sunday, August 15, everyone laced up their blue suede shoes and headed on over to John Paul's for an Elvis costume party and show, hosted by Queen Amon-Ra XLV. As you know, King and Queen Amon-Ra have been extremely active supporters of OHL and we could not appreciate them any more than we already do.

Crawfish Odyssey 2010 was a huge success! Proceeds raised from this year's event will help support our Pregnant and Post-Partum Women with Children Program! OHL Holds Ribbon Cutting For Renovated Medical Clinic
OHL held a ribbon- cutting ceremony for its renovated free community medical clinic Friday, July 24, 2009. OHL was able to upgrade the medical clinic’s facilities thanks to a one-time, $100,000 grant from Humana’s Louisiana Benefits charitable giving program.
OHL Medical Clinic Awarded $100,000 Humana Grant
The Odyssey House Free Community Medical clinic was awarded a $100,000 grant through Humana Louisiana Benefits to remodel and renovate the clinic area. With the funding, OHL will be able to add additional patient rooms and a new medical records room.
OHL NAMED WHITE HOUSE HONOR OF HOPE AWARDEE
NEW ORLEANS, LA, August 7, 2008— Odyssey House Louisiana, Inc. (OHL) has been recognized by the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (FBCI) as an Honor of Hope Awardee in the The President’s Faith-Based and Community Initiative in 50 States: A Report to the Nation.
OHL HOMELESS HOUSING PROGRAMS RECOGNIZED BY CITY COUNCIL
NEW ORLEANS, LA, May 15, 2008— The City Council of New Orleans acknowledged Odyssey House Louisiana, Inc.’s (OHL) social service housing programs and awarded two OHL employees with City Proclamations for assisting in re-housing the homeless population that formerly inhabited Duncan Plaza.

Crawfish Odyssey is OHL's annual fundraising crawfish cookoff, traditonally held in April. We are always welcoming new RESTAURANTS to participate in our crawfish cookoff, as well as SPONSORS and DONORS.
